Bumpdate: 28 Weeks

Hello 3rd Trimester! Well things are beginning to get real! My belly is growing by the day and I feel like he will be here before we know it! Here is my 28 Week Bumpdate with Charlotte .

How far along? 28 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  up 4lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight!
Maternity clothes: Yep, pretty much live in leggings and sweaters here! It's been cold!
Stretch marks? Not yet! And I need to start remembering to put my coconut oil on!
Sleep? Eh, not the best. We dealt with a chirping smoke detector last night!
Miss Anything? Being able to reach my toes and tie my shoes! My belly definitely gets in the way these days.
Movement: Yep, he officially way more active than his sister! Still trying to figure out his position in there. Ultrasound next week!
Food cravings? I've really been trying to manage my cravings, but some days are easier than others. This week I craved bubblegum and ate way too much of it. It's so good though!
Anything making you sick or queasy? Public restrooms. I don't know if it is California or I am just sensitive, but the bathrooms here are gross. I try to avoid them at all costs, but with a toddler and pregnant woman that is near impossible.
Gender: Boy!
Symptoms: Low back pain, some headaches, but overall doing pretty well!
Labor signs? Not yet! I think had started having Braxton Hicks at this point last time!
Belly button in or out? In shirts in looks like an outie!
Wedding rings on or off? It has too be the cold weather, but I am seriously about to stop wearing my rings because they literally just slip right off. It's bizarre, because you would think at this point they would be tight!
Happy or moody most of the time? Its a toss up. Some days are better than others! Being pregnant with number #2 is definitely a different ball game when you are caring for another child. There are just not enough hours in the day.
Worst moment this week: On Sunday I had tennis elbow and was in the absolute worst pain! I had never had it before and it was so painful! I didn't fall asleep until midnight because of it! We also had our doctor's appt. cancelled on Tuesday because the ultrasound tech was sick, so that was a bummer, but we will go next week!
Best moment this week: Getting dolled up and attending the Grand Winter Ball last Saturday and having the appraiser tell me that I was the prettiest Realtor he has ever met! :) Lol, he knew how to make a pregnant woman's week!
Looking forward to: Family will be here soon and Christmas! I am definitely stressed with all that we need to get done for Christmas and the baby, but Charlotte is so excited about everything this year and that makes it really fun!
Baby info: Baby is the size of a large eggplant, weighs 2 1/4 pounds and can blink!

Bumpdate: 26 Weeks

I'm late on my posting again, but such is life! 27 Weeks today! I did snap this pic earlier this week! Not much to report here, except a growing bump! Here is my 26 week bumpdate with Charlotte!

How far along? 26 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  up 2 1/2 lbs!
Maternity clothes: Bought a couple more things and continue to find things in my closet that work well. I definitely am feeling that my belly is bigger this go round!
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep? Tired and not sleeping the best. Some days are better than others!
Miss Anything? Family and Florida. :( I enjoy it here in Monterey, but I am missing parts of "home" for sure.
Movement: Lots of kicking at all times of the day! I think he is going to be a busy body like his sister!
Food cravings? I bought Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal at the grocery store yesterday! What is wrong with me?! I continue to crave sweets! It is so terrible!!
Anything making you sick or queasy? Smells have been bothering me more lately. I feel like I can smell everything!
Gender: Boy!
Symptoms: The usual!!
Labor signs? Not yet!
Belly button in or out? Almost an outie!
Wedding rings on or off? On and still loose-- I can't believe this!
Happy or moody most of the time? I've been moody. Tired, back has been hurting and feeling big!
Worst moment this week: Just feeling uncomfortable, not being able to do normal things and constantly getting out of breath! I feel like I am 3x my size sometimes!
Best moment this week: We finally ventured to Santa Cruz on Veteran's Day and had the MOST amazing ice cream, Charlotte started swim lessons and is doing so well and we sold some furniture (Charlotte's crib and a bedroom set) to make room for baby! We also ordered some new stuff! I'll be lucky if the nursery is done by the time he arrives, lol! Oh and Charlotte was talking to him the other night and said, "You're my best friend". She does say this to a lot of people, but I thought it was sweet!
Looking forward to: Family coming to visit next month!!!
Baby info: Baby is the size of a scallion. He's about 1 2/3 lbs and can hear our voices now! So sweet, because Charlotte has been talking to him!

Bumpdate: 24 Weeks

I'm a little late on this post! I will actually be 25 weeks on Saturday! With daylight savings time it was hard to snap a pic before it was dark outside. I had a checkup on Tuesday that went well! The baby is super active, more so than Charlotte, but I just remembered last night that I had an anterior placenta with Charlotte, so I didn't feel as many kicks! Next week I'll go for my gestational diabetes test! Here is my 24 Week Bumpdate with Charlotte, I kind of popped from 23 to 24 weeks with her too.

How far along? 24 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  up 1 lb. !
Maternity clothes: I got my bins down and I'm so happy I did! I am sleeping better at night now that my pants don't cut into my bump! I also forgot about some cute things that I had in there!
Stretch marks? Nope!
Sleep? I'm sleeping ok, nothing great, but I guess it could be worst. In bed extra early ever since daylight savings time! It's the worst and gets dark SO early!
Miss Anything? Since I alway say wine, I'll skip that this time and say, exercising without getting out of breath. I do a class at the gym almost every Monday and this past Monday I just could not catch my breath, also a lot of the exercises are getting harder to do. I love being active so that is hard for me. I ran the other morning and got through it pretty well with the help of some friends!
Movement: He is way more active than I remember Charlotte being. Kyle FINALLY felt him a couple nights ago, so that was really cool! Charlotte loves talking to him. Another child at school touched my belly and said, "baby" and she said, "Hey, that's MY baby brother". WATCH OUT!
Food cravings? Kyle and I had a stomach bug last Friday and I could hardly eat anything at all. Well I was back to my normal self by Sunday and craving all things! Currently craving CARBS! Charlotte and I made chocolate chip cookies on Sunday and they have been calling my name, every day!
Anything making you sick or queasy? Not really this week.
Gender: Boy!
Symptoms: No new symptoms per se, just the usual back pain, belly is starting to get tight.
Labor signs? Not yet!
Belly button in or out?  A few more weeks and will probably be an outie!
Wedding rings on or off? On and still loose!
Happy or moody most of the time? Tired and cranky sometimes. Happy when the weather is warmer and the sun is out. Those days are becoming more rare, so I am VERY grateful for them!
Worst moment this week: Don't really have a worst moment this week.
Best moment this week: Celebrating Halloween with our neighbors and friends. Charlotte had so much fun! We are lucky to have such great friends here in California. Definitely makes being "away from home" a little easier.
Looking forward to: Thanksgiving will be here soon and starting to plan our baby moon!
Baby info: Baby is the size of an ear of corn. He is about a foot long and 1 1/3 lbs.

Bumpdate: 22 Weeks

Another 2 weeks have flown by and it's time for another bumpdate. I am really starting to look pregnant these days! Here is my 22 week bumpdate with Charlotte! Ahh, I miss that view in Hawaii!

How far along? 22 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  I am officially back at my pre-pregnancy weight!
Maternity clothes: I still haven't gotten my bins down, but really need to work on that. Also need to shop for some new workout pants!
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep? I've been going to sleep pretty early. I fell asleep one night last week around 7:45 while we were laying in bed watching a movie! I'm definitely more tired at night!
Miss Anything? I really can't sleep on my back anymore, which isn't a problem, but I find myself moving back and forth between sides throughout the night and then have to readjust all of my pillows! And of course my wine!
Movement: Yes, he is very active. Kyle still hasn't been able to feel him, but sometimes my belly will move when he kicks! It is really cool. I wish I could bottle this feeling, it is really like no other!
Food cravings? I won't lie, I crave the worst things! I don't crave anything healthy and thinking about it makes me feel queasy, lol! But I did eat a salad for dinner last night! I'm trying to give myself a little grace with eating and foods!
Anything making you sick or queasy? I'm recovered from my cold and haven't had any heartburn since then! I am SO thankful!
Gender: Boy!
Symptoms: I finally went to the chiropractor last week. I saw one during my pregnancy with Charlotte and that really helped! I am hope this helps my back and also my shoulders and neck. I've been really tight there. Labor signs? Not yet!
Belly button in or out? My belly is getting really hard on top of my belly button.
Wedding rings on or off? On and still loose!
Happy or moody most of the time? Now that I am past being sick, I am feeling happy.
Worst moment this week: Can't think of anything!
Best moment this week: Running my entire 5k. I love running, but it has become a little harder for me now that I am further along. I get winded easily and I have to go to the bathroom the entire time! It's not as enjoyable, but I pushed through on the race we did on Saturday and was happy!
Looking forward to: Kyle's dad is coming to visit and Charlotte is SO excited! We are also going to see Disney on Ice this weekend! Also looking forward to Halloween next week! Excited about our family costume!
Baby info: Baby is the size of a large mango! He is about 11 inches and 1 pound! Aww!! He's also developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums!

Bumpdate: 20 Weeks

Well, we are halfway through this pregnancy and I cannot believe it! Here is my 20 week post with Charlotte and at that point, I had already finalized the nursery design and ordered all of the furniture! Oh how things are different for Baby #2. I have purchased a crib, but it is still in the box, in the garage! Hopefully we will get to work on HIS room soon!! Yes, I can finally confirm (via ultrasound and seeing his parts) that we are indeed having a BOY! Of course, we knew from the blood test back at 11 weeks that the baby was a boy, but I just had a feeling it was wrong. I'm happy to say it was NOT!
It's a Boy!
The past two weeks have had some highs and lows. I visited Vegas for the weekend with my mom and sister for a girl's weekend and we had the MOST amazing time. Being pregnant in Vegas was definitely interesting, but I still had an awesome time despite not partaking in all of the festivities. If you are ever there, I highly recommend seeing Celine Dion. She was amazing.

I came back home the Sunday that the Vegas shooting occurred. It was absolutely tragic to wake up and see what had happened and so surreal that I was just there. Thank you again to all of those who reached out to check on me.

The next Monday morning it was time to go on my first field trip with Charlotte! We had a blast, but I also think that may have been where I picked up some germs. By the time Wednesday evening rolled around, my throat was starting to ache and I knew sickness was coming on. I woke up Thursday with a sore throat, congested and miserable. Friday was bad too. So bad I had to cancel Charlotte's riding lesson (which killed me) and to add to the chaos, Kyle was sick now, too. On Friday, my heartburn also started and my back was killing me. It was my first "bad day" of being pregnant so far. Which I realize I CANNOT complain about.

I hoped and prayed Saturday would be better, but honestly it was pretty bad, too. Sinus pressure like you can't even imagine and of course I can't take anything. My doctor said Tylenol and nasal saline spray. I've also been diffusing oils round the clock and taking loads of Vitamin C.

Fast forward to today and I am finally on the mend! Thank goodness! I hope the colds/sinus issues stay away!

Today, we had a checkup for Baby Boy and also had his anatomy scan. His scan went really well and all is good. I was told Saturday at a training ultrasound that I participated in, that I had marginal cord insertion in my placenta. Which means that instead of being in the center of the placenta, it is more on the edge. So of course I googled it. BAD IDEA! Thankfully my doctor confirmed today that I do have a more off center insertion, but there is no reason for alarm now. We will likely just track baby more to make sure he is growing and receiving enough nourishment from the placenta, which means more ultrasounds (so I am not complaining).
Sweet little face with his foot in front of his face! :)
Now onto to the stats!

How far along? 20 weeks
Total weight gain/loss:  I am officially one pound under my pre-pregnancy weight
Maternity clothes: I just told Kyle a few days ago, it is time to get the maternity clothing bins down! My pants are tight along my belly and a little uncomfortable.
Stretch marks? Not yet!
Sleep? My neighbor gave me her pregnancy pillow and that has been super comfy to sleep with. Last pregnancy, I used a body pillow. I'm still getting up multiple times a night to use the bathroom. Our little monkey has decided to sleep in a little bit longer, sometimes even until 7:30, so we have been super lucky in that respect!
Miss Anything? Being able to take meds when I was sick! Some Advil Cold & Sinus would have been amazing the last couple of days!
Movement: Oh yes! I also think that you can see/feel it from the outside. Last night, Kyle and Char were huddled around my belly trying to see/hear/talk to the baby. It was so sweet!
Food cravings? I went a couple weeks without a hotdog, but got my fix yesterday! Yum! I have been cautious as to what I am eating because last week I started getting heartburn. It was miserable!!! Last week I lived on Cold Cure juices from Whole Foods. They are $7 each, but it was literally the only time I felt good.
Anything making you sick or queasy? When I had heartburn and my cold last week, I just wanted to curl up in a ball! So miserable!
Gender: Boy! And we just confirmed that he is, in fact a boy, at our anatomy scan!
Symptoms: Maybe TMI for some of my readers, but this morning, I was just telling Kyle, I don't know how my boobs can get any bigger! Not sure if this is a sympton of second pregnancy or that I have breastfed before or what, but WOW! I feel like all the weight I have gained is right there, lol. Obviously had the heartburn, some low back pain, but for the most part, all is good.
Labor signs? Not yet!
Belly button in or out? Getting flat, hard and shallow!
Wedding rings on or off? On and still loose!
Happy or moody most of the time? Now that I am past being sick, I am feeling happy.
Worst moment this week: Being sick! Kyle was sick too, so we were just pretty miserable. Charlotte was understanding though and tried to help take care of us.
Best moment this week: Seeing little guy on the ultrasound.
Looking forward to: The Navy Ball this weekend! Excited for a fun night out with friends and getting dolled up! Of course, I will be the designated driver! :)
Baby info: Baby is the size of a banana!

Our Disneyland Adventure!

Our first family Pic at Disneyland from Sleeping Beauty's Castle!
I love planning our vacations and my husband and extended family know this very well! As soon as we book a trip, I hit the ground running doing research on where we are going and planning fun things for us to do!

Here in Monterey, Kyle is on a school schedule (4 quarters), so after every quarter they have a week break! We knew Kyle had to go to Bremerton, WA for a site visit the first half of the break, but I knew we had Thursday-Sunday free, so I started planning and chose Disneyland! I had researched another Disney cruise, but the value at this time wasn't there and the port visits were limited.

So here is a breakdown of our Disney trip. Some tips, tricks and lots of pictures! Enjoy!

Roadtrip
We headed out for Disneyland on Thursday morning. My goal was to be on the road by 6am, but unfortunately that didn't happen. We were out late the night before for Charlotte's Awana and Kyle had just gotten back from Bremerton that afternoon. After a quick stop at Panera for breakfast, we were on the road at 8am. Charlotte did great in the car and even took a nap! The drive there was definitely quicker than coming home as we took a direct route going. Kyle wasn't feeling well, so as soon as we arrived in Anaheim, I found an urgent care to take him to. We dropped him off and headed to the hotel. After a steroid shot, inhaler and Z-pack, he was on the road to recovery for all the fun I had planned! :)
7:30am and so excited to be on our way!
Hotel
After tons of research, I decided to stay at the DoubleTree Anaheim Resort-Convention Center. Next time we go, we will book further in advance so we can stay on property at one of the Disney hotels. The rates were crazy expensive because all of the military rooms were reserved. I got an awesome military rate at the DoubleTree and the best part is that the room was spacious and had a living room and bedroom, separated by a door. Perfect for families. Also, since we are Hilton Gold Members (thanks Amex Platinum--free for military) we also received complimentary breakfast (a 14.99 value). They also have awesome chocolate chip cookies when you check in. The hotel was a .9 mile walk from the park entrance. We walked several times and also did the ART shuttle. This hotel also had a heated pool and jacuzzi, which was a plus! We saw one night and watched the fireworks too!

We brought some snacks and drinks to fill up our mini bar!
Tickets
Disney is awesome and offers a 3-Day Park Hopper ticket for military. It was $156 per person and you can purchase at any base ticket office, but not on site at Disneyland. You can read about the restrictions on the tickets, here. We used all 3 days during our trip.

Maxpass
This is a fairly new program and I was SO excited about it. For $10, you basically get Fastpass and Photopass on your phone through the Disneyland app. Each person in your party needs the Maxpass to utilize the Fastpass option, but we only used that a couple times. In addition, you can still get regular Fastpasses from kiosks around the park. You have to purchase this once you are inside the park, but then you can enjoy the benefits! The Photopass was my favorite part because all of the pictures get loaded onto your app and you can download to your computer or phone for just $10!!! At our Princess breakfast, they came over with a several photos in a paper decorative frame. They wanted $37.95 for this! But then I told them I had Maxpass and they handed me a card and loaded them onto my phone in seconds!! I used the app to seek out photographers (Kyle hated this), but in the end we have some amazing professional photos!

ART
The Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) is a great option for getting to and from the parks. We used it several times when our feet were a little tired. The one way fare is $3, but the day pass for adults is $5. I recommend getting that in case you use it more than once. Most of the good neighbor hotels sell them in the lobby. We walked right out front to get our shuttle. The one downside? You have to unpack the stroller and break it down. I enjoy walking and getting my steps in, but Kyle opted for the shuttle several times. Charlotte enjoyed "riding the bus" too!

On the ART Shuttle!

Must Haves

Portable iPhone Charger
This was a life saver during the day at the park. It extended our battery life multiple times! Would highly suggest purchasing one before you go!

Collapsable Soft Cooler with Bottled Water and Snacks
Disney allows you to bring in water and snacks, so take advantage of this! We filled up our cooler and used freezer packs to keep it cold during the day! Totally worth it and saved money too! This fit really nicely underneath our stroller.

Autograph Book and Pen
We purchased our autograph book onsite, because I forgot to get one before! I linked up one from Amazon for $11! This was really exciting for Charlotte! She loved giving the book and pen. I sent Kyle to buy one while we were in line for Minnie and he spent $20 on the book and matching pen.

We chose a Minnie Mouse book!

Clothing/Family T-Shirts
I'm a big fan of matching and love to get creative with our outfits. We re-used our Disney family shirts from our cruise early this year! Those were done by Embellished! and then my friend Jessica, with Stitches by Jessica, made our sparkly princess monogram shirts! They turned out so cute!

Day 1
Once Kyle was doctored up, we headed off to the park. I didn't make any reservations for this day, because I wasn't sure of our timing. Right after arriving at the park, we saw Minnie and Pluto! Charlotte was in heaven! Minnie was dressed for Halloween! Our first ride was Snow White (because the line was only 15 minutes). Charlotte didn't really care for it. She was a little scared. We continued to wander through Frontierland and it was just packed! We got onto the Pirates of the Caribbean ride fairly quickly and Charlotte is still singing the "Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me" song. I couldn't believe how busy it was for a Thursday night! Plaza Inn's fried chicken was on my list of places to eat, but the line was SO long, that we decided to press on to Tomorrowland. We finally found a place with a decently short line. Kyle had a cheeseburger, I had a veggie wrap and Charlotte had mac and cheese. Not the best meal, but it was late and we were just hungry! Next we rode the Autopia Car driving ride. Charlotte loved this and loved when Kyle bumped into the railing! Lol, it's the little things. We continued into Fantasyland and rode It's a Small World. Charlotte loved this one. After this, we called it a night and headed home. My watch clocked 13,307 steps and 6.51 miles for the day! Pretty good for not even full day in the park!

Day 2
We were up early to get ready for our Princess Breakfast at Ariel's Grotto! We decided to take the shuttle this day. We got to the park entrance around 8:45am and the security lines were so long! Thankfully, we made it to Ariel's Grotto by 9:00am for our reservation. As we walked down the circular staircase, Ariel was there waiting for us! Charlotte was so excited. After taking our photo with her, we were seated. I'll admit the breakfast was pricy, $35 per adult and $20 for Charlotte, but the presentation and experience was really great. We were served muffins, pastries and fruit (really fresh and delicious) and then we were able to select an entree off of the menu. I selected the Bacon, Egg and Cheese Croissant and Kyle had the Tri-Tip Steak and Eggs. Both were very good. Charlotte had a waffle that was made into a sailboat with a piece of bacon as the sail! So cute! As we had breakfast, the princesses were introduced and came around and said hi to us. We got to meet Belle, Rapunzel, Tiana and Snow White! Charlotte absolutely loved it!

Pastries and Fruit Platter
Charlotte's Sailboat Waffle
My Breakfast Sandwich

Charlotte with Rapunzel

With Tiana!

Family Pic with Ariel! Thanks PhotoPass!
After breakfast, we headed across the way to Ariel's ride. We only had to wait 5 minutes! It was perfect! Next on the schedule, was the Disney Jr. Dance Party. Charlotte loved this!! The party features Mickey and The Roadster Racers, Sophia the First and Doc McStuffins. Really cute show. After the show was over, we went outside and we were able to meet Sophia. We had about an hour before the Frozen show, so Kyle being the amazing daddy he is, when to wait in line so we could get front row seats while Charlotte and I stood in line for Spiderman. Yes, she was REALLY excited for Spiderman! After we saw Spiderman, we tried to hop over to Animation Academy where the Frozen characters are, but the line was long so we opted for popcorn and to meet back up with daddy to get our seats.

Spider Power!

The Frozen Show was absolutely amazing. We saw a similar show on our Disney cruise, but obviously this theater had more props/ability and it was wonderful! We were on the 3rd row! Charlotte stayed engaged pretty much the entire time! She kept asking us if she could give the characters hugs. Unfortunately once the show was over, the character meet and greet was already over for the day, so we were unable to see them.

The staircase rotated over the audience! It was so cool!

Next up, we ate lunch in the Pacific Wharf! We decided on Lucky Fortune Cookery! Kyle and Charlotte had a Teriyaki Chicken bowl and I had a Coconut Chicken Curry bowl. It was so yummy and not expensive at all. We also had some mango slices that were really good! Next we walked through Cars Land! Someone was getting sleepy, so we decided to have some ice cream, Mickey Bars of course, and head back to the hotel for nap!

Really into her Mickey Bar! Yikes what a mess! Chocolate everywhere!
After nap, we had a reservation for Morton's Steakhouse. It was a 5 minute walk from our hotel! After dinner, we headed back and changed for the pool. We made it to the pool deck just in time to catch the fireworks!

You can see the fireworks in the distance!
Day 3
Charlotte slept in until about 7:15am, so then we were rushing to get to her Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique appointment. We opted for the cheapest package ($65) which included hair, makeup and nails. This option is great because you can use a princess dress you already have, and we have tons of them! They will also get a BBB banner, backpack, and the leftover makeup, nail polish, stick on jewels, etc. An important note for BBB is that you can't book through the Disneyland app, you have to call and I recommend doing it as far in advance as possible. Also, a morning time slot is best so they can enjoy their style throughout the day and into the evening. Charlotte's hairstyle survived through nap time!

After checking in, we were taken back into the salon. It's so cute and they have all of the Disney music going. Charlotte sat in her salon chair and then there was a bench right behind for Kyle and I to sit on. The whole experience was very quick. One fairy godmother did her hair and the other did her nails and makeup. Once complete, they turned her around and told her to say, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" and then the curtains opened and she saw herself in the mirror! She was so proud!

Next up it was time to see princesses in the Royal Hall. After a short 10 minute wait, we got to see Ariel, Snow White and Cinderella. Cinderella is my favorite (and now Charlotte's too). The princesses were so sweet and really spent lots of time with each child.

Twirling with Ariel
Cinderella!
We then walked over to get seat at the Storytelling Show at the Royal Theatre. Our show featured Beauty and the Best and we loved it! A special treat here, if you stay behind after the show and just linger, you may get a special one on one with Belle! :)

My favorite! Lifting her little dress like Belle!
Next up, we headed over to Winnie and The Pooh while Kyle rode Thunder Mountain with a Fastpass. Charlotte didn't care for the ride, but loved getting to see Tigger, Eeyore and Pooh! After that, we met back up with Kyle who waited in the 45 minute line at Plaza Inn so we could have their famous fried chicken and boy was it good! Charlotte thoroughly enjoyed her pasta too!

Her face!

Then we headed to the Fairy Hollow to meet Tinkerbell. It is really cutely decorated! Charlotte loves Tinkerbell. On our way to Toontown to see Mickey and Minnie, we ran into Captain Hook! Kyle and I divided and conquered and he waited in the Mickey's house line, while I waited in the Minnie house line. It worked perfectly! I had to wait for about 40 minutes! But, Char loved it.

We were getting close to toddler meltdown, but Kyle had a Fastpass for Space Mountain, so we split again and Char and I went to meet Moana. I knew I couldn't come to Disneyland without getting Dole Whip, so we bit the bullet and waited in the REALLY long line. Another tip here, there are two lines. Go to the one right outside the Enchanted Tiki Room. The line is shorter. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait.

Now it was back to the hotel to get some rest and also catch the Gator game! Of course, no channels were playing it, so Kyle went down to the bar and live-streamed it on his computer while I stayed up with Char! On our way to the park, we continued to stream the nail-biter of game, thanks to technology!

We had reservations for the Hungry Bear On-the Go Fantasmic! Dining Package. The package gave us fast passes to the 9pm show and allowed us to have a front row seat. I would highly suggest it, because it was way more affordable than the Blue Bayou package which was $60 per adult. You were able to choose from 3 different entrees and everything was nicely packaged up to take to your seat or to eat at the tables provided at the restaurant. These book up fast, so I would recommend booking this early through the app!

She loved the show!
After this, we were pretty spent and decided to head back home. It was a little chaotic because as we were leaving, the 9:30pm fireworks show was starting. We were able to catch a few on the way out and snap a few pics!

Outside the main gate! I loved all of the Halloween decor!
We really had a blast on our action-packed Disney trip! Even though Kyle has no desire to go back, I'm really excited for at least one more trip during our time in Monterey!
